Drying clothes

We have a new (to us... thanks Freecycle!) clothes dryer so we don't have to run clothes through it 2-3 (!!) times to get them dry... but I still feel like we need to start hanging clothes to dry.

I have read that line drying over dryer drying will average a 50¢ per load in savings. If I can hang just one load a day, that is $15 a month, or $180 a year. Not a lot, but it is something.

That said... I can't find a decent indoor cloths rack. I don't want one made of wood, because they aren't as sturdy and can stain the clothes. I found this, and am going to ask my mom's husband to make something like it. (He welds, and probably has the stuff in the basement to make it.)

Any other ideas? I have no basement, and an unheated garage, if that matters.
